Ali Dawoud Sedam

Ali Dawoud Sedam (birth name Elias Daudi ; born June 29, 1984 ) is a Qatari long-distance runner of Tanzanian origin.

At the World Cross Country Championships in Brussels in 2004 , he took 23rd place on the short distance. On the long distance he helped the Qatari team in Saint-Galmier in 2005 with a 19th place to the bronze medal. In 2007 in Mombasa he was ranked 40th and in 2008 in Edinburgh 61st.

At the 2007 Road Running World Championships in Udine, he came in 14th and set a national record in the half marathon with 1:00:39 h . The following year he contributed to the bronze medal win of the Qatari team at the World Half Marathon Championships in Rio de Janeiro with a 19th place.
