Ali Güzeldal (born April 10, 1986 in Samsun ) is a former Turkish football player and current coach.

Player career

Club career

Ali Güzeldal began with club football in the youth of Bakırköyspor and trained from the winter break 2001/02 in addition to his work with the reserve team with the professionals. So he made his first league game for the professional team on the last day of the match. In the summer of 2002 he received a professional contract and a short time later fought for a regular position.

When his contract expired, he moved to the traditional Turkish club Trabzonspor in summer 2005 . Here he was entered in the list of players to be loaned after the preparation camp for the upcoming season. So he played on loan from second division Akçaabat Sebatspor until the winter break . He returned to Trabzonspor for the winter break and had made six league games by the end of the season.

In the summer of 2006 he switched to the second division Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor as a swap for Murat Ocak . Here he reached in the 2006/07 season with his team the runner-up in the TFF 1st Lig and rose to the Süper Lig .

After his contract expired in the 2012/13 season, he moved to Ankaraspor .

This club had been suspended from all competitions by the Turkish Football Association two years earlier and, after lengthy court hearings, had been given the right to participate in the Süper Lig again. Therefore, several seasoned players, including Güzeldal, were bought in during the summer. Ankaraspor later decided to suspend a season itself, so that the purchased players were released again. Then Güzeldal moved to the second division Boluspor .

For the 2014/15 season Güzeldal moved to the second division Orduspor . In December 2014 he left this club prematurely and then ended his career.

National team

Güzeldal went through all ages of the Turkish youth national teams from the Turkish U-16 national team. He also played once for the second selection of the Turkish national team in 2011 .

Coaching career

In the summer of 2016 he started his coaching career with a junior coach at Istanbul Başakşehir FK .
