Ali Sarı (born November 20, 1986 in Beyşehir ) is a Turkish Taekwondoin , who starts in the middle and heavyweight division.

Sarı has been participating in international competitions since 2006. He won his first medal with bronze middleweight at the Universiade in Bangkok . In the adult field, he made his debut at the European Championships in Rome in 2008 , where he was eliminated in the quarter-finals against Nicolás García . At the Universiade 2011 he was able to win another medal with silver in the heavyweight division. Sarı achieved his greatest sporting success to date in the class up to 87 kilograms at the 2012 European Championships in Manchester . He was only just defeated in the semifinals to Lutalo Muhammad and won the bronze medal.

Sarı starts for the Ulaştırma Spor Kulübü club . He is studying sports science at Selçuk University . His brother Yunus is also a successful Taekwondo and World Cup medalist.
