Yunus Sarı (born January 21, 1991 in Beyşehir ) is a Turkish Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 80 kilograms.
Sarı has been taking part in international competitions since 2005, he won his first medal with silver in the class up to 63 kilograms at the 2007 European Junior Championships in Baku . In the adult field, he made his breakthrough at the 2011 World Cup in Gyeongju . In the class up to 80 kilograms, he reached the final with a semi-final victory against Issam Chernoubi and won the silver medal. He won another medal at the Universiade in Shenzhen . The following year Sarı also played his first European Championship in Manchester , where he was eliminated in the quarter-finals against Tommy Mollet .
Sarı starts for the Ulaştırma Spor Kulübü club . His brother Ali is also a successful Taekwondo and European Championship medalist.
