Alibak Steenholdt

Alibak Johannes Kasper Steenholdt (born June 22, 1934 in Qeqertarsuatsiaq ; † December 18, 2012 ) was a Greenlandic administrative lawyer and civil servant .

Alibak Steenholdt studied law at the University of Copenhagen and graduated in 1972 as a Cand. iur. from. He then became an agent in Grønlands Landsråd . To introduce the Inatsisartut in 1979, he became Parliamentary Secretary. He stayed that way until 1999. From 1988 he was also head of the parliamentary office and from 1996 its director.

It was in 1989 Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog beaten and received on 27 September 1996 the silver, on 29 May 1999 the golden Nersornaat .

Alibak was the son of the hunter Andreas Lars Filemon Steenholdt (1901–1980) and his wife Louise Johanne Abelone Judithe Jeremiassen (1913–?) His grandfather was Provincial Councilor Nathanael Steenholdt (1874–1919). He was also the older brother of the two politicians Otto (1936-2016) and Konrad Steenholdt (* 1942).
