Nathanael Steenholdt

Johannes Jens Nathanael Steenholdt (born June 4, 1874 in Maniitsoq near Aasiaat , † August 2, 1919 in Innalik ) was a Greenland state councilor .

Nathanael Steenholdt was the son of Jens Niels Steenholdt (1843–?) And his wife Louise Marie Birthe Olsen (1844–?). He was born in northern Maniitsoq in the Egedesminde Colony District . He later lived further south as a hunter in Qeqertarsuatsiaat . On June 7, 1896, he married Marie Nikol Sara Steenholdt in Aasiaat . He is the grandfather of the Alibak brothers (1934–2012), Otto (1936–2016) and Konrad Steenholdt (* 1942).

1916 Nathanael active as a hunter was in the North Greenlandic Provincial elected. He died during the current legislative period in the summer of 1919 at the age of 45 in Innalik. Jonas Mikisuluk then took his place .
