Tobias Heilmann (politician, 1873)
Sivert Tobias Jens Heilmann (born October 9, 1873 in Kangeq ; † September 17, 1940 in Tasiusaq ) was a Greenlandic catechist and councilor .
Tobias Heilmann was the son of the hunter Christian Poulsen Jakob Salomon Heilmann (1846–1877) and his wife Maline Catrine Lovise Birgithe Berthelsen (1850–1902). Through his father he was a great-grandson of Inspector Arent Christopher Heilmann (1781-1830). His maternal grandfather was the poet Rasmus Berthelsen (1827–1901). With his wife Marie Susanne Vilhelmine Berthelsen (1873–1930) he had the following children:

Tobias Heilmann attended Grønland's seminary in Nuuk from 1891 to 1897 , where he trained as a catechist. He was then transferred to the north, where he was chief catechist at Tasiusaq. He represented Johan Bidstrup in the North Greenland State Council , first in 1918 and continuously after his death from 1920. Tobias Heilmann died in 1940 shortly before his 67th birthday.
