Jonas Zethsen

Lars Jonas Peter Johannes Zethsen (born July 6, 1881 in Appat ; † unknown ) was a Greenland state councilor .

Jonas Zethsen was the son of the colonist Niels Johannes Jakob Zethsen (1845–?) And his wife Ane Lucie Eva Eleonora (1849–?). He married on August 16, 1901 in his hometown Marie Dorthea Beate Jensen (1882–?). Among other things, the daughter Nielsine Abelone Martha Zethsen (1916–1944), who was married to the artist Kâle Rosing (1911–1974), left the marriage.

He worked as a hunter. In 1916 he was in the North Greenlandic Provincial elected. In 1923 he was re-elected. In 1926 he resigned from the regional council after two legislative terms.
