Pavia Petersen (politician)

Pavia Ole Daniel Thor Petersen (born April 21, 1876 in Paamiut , † after 1922) was a Greenland state councilor .

Pavia Petersen was the son of the catechist Lars Apollus David Anders Petersen (1845–1921) and his wife Lucia Christence Lydia Sabine (1848–1934). He was the older brother of the composer and poet Jonathan Petersen (1881-1961) and thus the uncle of his namesake, the writer Pavia Petersen (1904-1943). Pavia Petersen lived as a hunter. From 1917 to 1922 he sat for a legislative period in the South Greenland State Council .
