Seth Olsen

Seth Eli Johan Olsen (born March 1, 1882 in Sisimiut , † April 8, 1921 there ) was a Greenland state councilor .

Seth Olsen was the son of the hunter Jørgen Ole Tønnes Jokum Olsen (1852–?) And his wife Kirstine Bodil Benedikta Absalonsen (1854–?). He was also a hunter himself and was elected to Sydgrønlands Landsråd in 1917 . However, he last attended a session in 1919 and died of tuberculosis during the 1921 legislative period at the age of 39 . He was represented by Marius Olsen . Seth Olsen was the younger brother of Provincial Councilor Simon Olsen (1879–1936) and the uncle of Provincial Councilor Jørgen CF Olsen (1916–1985). His grandson is the linguist Carl Christian Olsen (* 1943).
