Valdemar Sørensen
Mathias Axel Valdemar Sørensen (born May 16, 1886 in Nivaaq ; † unknown ) was a Greenland state councilor .
Valdemar Sørensen was the illegitimate son of the Udsteds administrator Bernhard Sørensen and the widow Benedigte Marie Thorin. As a cooper like his father, he worked in trading services. He was elected to the North Greenland State Council in 1917 . It is unclear whether he attended the last meeting, as Frederik Lynge is named as a member there. In the 1921 census he is listed as residing in Iginniarfik , which means that he would have moved out of his constituency during the current legislative period.
