Asser Berthels

Asser Jakob Berthels (born January 9, 1885 in Neu-Herrnhut as Assa Jacob ; † January 1957 ) was a Greenland state councilor .

Asser Berthels was the son of Amos Aron (1858–?) And his wife Rakel Augusta (1858–?). He married on September 20, 1904 in Nuuk Ane Louise Ingeborg Petersen (1882–?), Daughter of Villiam Tobias Efraim Jefta Thomas Petersen (1856–1933) and Eleonora Josefa Agnete Margrete Maria Poulsen (1860–1928).

Asser Berthels lived as a hunter in Kangerluarsussuaq . From 1924 to 1926 he represented Esekiel Berthelsen in the South Greenland State Council . In 1928 he was Nikolaj Hansen's representative . He died in January 1957 around his 72nd birthday.
