Simon Jakob Frederik "Fale" Olsen (born April 5, 1882 in Sisimiut , † 1969 ) was a Greenland state councilor .

Frederik Olsen was the son of Thomas Kristoffer Samuel Olsen (1843-1919) and Johanne Gjertrud Kirsten Inger Johansen (1854-1911). This made him a younger brother of Gustav Olsen .

Frederik Olsen started working for Den Kongelige Grønlandske Handel in 1904 . For some time he was Udsteds administrator in Qerrortusoq and Itilleq . He was a member of the local council and from 1927 to 1932 he was a member of the South Greenland Regional Council . It wasn't until 1960 that he retired at the age of 78. In 1955 he received the award of the King Christian and Queen Alexandrines Foundation and was the holder of the Kongelige Belønningsmedalje for his many years of work.
