Ole Petersen (politician)

Ole Levi Albrekt Petersen (born March 7, 1894 in Maniitsoq , † 1979 ) was a Greenland state councilor .

Ole Petersen was the son of Elias Kristian Frederik Peter Petersen (1853–1940) and his wife Berthelene Margrete Ane Maria (1856–?). The catechist and councilor Jonas Petersen was his younger brother. Ole Petersen was married to Marie Karoline Jakobine Rosing (1898–1980), daughter of the Udsteds administrator Johannes Peter Rosing (1863–?) And his wife Susanne Maria Lise Heilmann (1865–?). She was the granddaughter of Karoline Rosing (1842–1901) and the niece of Christian Rosing (1866–1944), Peter Rosing (1871–1938) and Karl Rosing (1878–?). The marriage resulted in the rector Hans Christian Petersen (1925–2015), the Eskimologist Robert Petersen (* 1928) and the pastor Ricard Petersen (1931–2014).

Ole Petersen worked as an office assistant from 1917. He sat for the first time in Grønlands Landsråd from 1923 to 1926 , but was replaced by Peter Petersen last year . In 1932 he replaced Niels Lynge in the National Council and was then a full member from 1933 to 1938 for another legislative period, but did not take part in the 1936 session.
