Peter Street

Harald Theodor Peter Street (born November 19, 1902 in Saattut ; † unknown ) was a Greenlandic catechist and councilor .

Peter Street was the son of the hunter Lauritz Karl Valdemar Harald Street and his second wife Maria Bertheline Laura Clara Isaksen. He was trained as a catechist at Grønland's seminary in Nuuk . He later worked as a head catechist. He was elected to the North Greenland State Council in 1933 , but was partly represented by Mathæus Nielsen . He was elected again from 1945 to 1950, but only took part in the meetings in 1945 and 1947 and was otherwise represented by Johannes Filemonsen .
