Johan Thomasson

Pavia Johan Karl Thomasson (born January 1, 1892 in Qassersuaq , † 1955 ) was a Greenland councilor .

Johan Thomasson was the illegitimate son of the Icelandic cooper Ólafur Thomasson (1856-1893) and the Greenlander Benigne Frederikke Pauline Petersen (1862-1892). Both parents had died before Johan was two years old. On June 15, 1913 he married Uthelie Magdalene Elisabeth Løvstrøm (1894–?), Daughter of the catechist Johan Peter Gabriel Løvstrøm (1853–1918) and his wife Pernille Christine Bolette Benedicte Barsellaisen (1853–1921).

The hunter Johan Thomasson, who lives in Tussaaq, sat for a period in Grønlands Landsråd from 1945 to 1950 .
