Peter Fleischer (politician)

Jens Theodor Peter Fleischer (born August 25, 1904 in Ikerasak ; † September 1977 ) was a Greenland state councilor .

Peter Fleischer was the son of cooper Knud Gelmyden Fleischer and his wife Marie Magdalene Hansine Andersen. The Fleischer family worked in the colony administration for several generations. Peter worked for Den Kongelige Grønlandske Handel for 45 years .

He was a member of the local council, the Sysselrat and sat from 1945 to 1954 for two periods in the regional council. He also worked as a district judge.

He was the recipient of the Kongelige Belønningsmedalje with crown, which was presented to him by the royal couple in 1952.
