Alicia Dujovne Ortiz
Alicia Dujovne Ortiz (born January 4, 1939 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine journalist and writer.
Dujovne Ortiz studied at the university in her hometown. Then she began to write for various newspapers and magazines such as "La opinión", " La Nación " or "Excelsior".
When the junta, led by General Jorge Rafael Videla, came to power in 1976, its journalistic work was severely restricted. In 1978, through the process of national reorganization , all that was left for her was exile. She went to France and settled in Paris .
There Dujovne Ortiz began to write for the newspapers “ Le Monde ” (Paris) and “ La Vanguardia ” ( Barcelona ) and later became editor of Spanish literature at the Gallimard publishing house . After her major literary successes, Dujovne Ortiz settled as a freelance writer in Toulouse .
