Aline Stiller (born May 15, 1994 in Darmstadt ) is a German basketball player .

Life

Aline Stiller grew up in Weiterstadt and learned to play basketball at SG Weiterstadt. From 2009 she attended the Theo Koch School Grünberg as a boarding school student at the Grünberg part-time basketball boarding school . Aline Stiller was a player on the school team of the Theo Koch School at the 2011 World Basketball Championships in Zhangjiagang, China . The Grünbergs team took fourth place and Aline Stiller was appointed to the World Cup All-Star Team.

Basketball career

The 1.84 m tall athlete ran through the youth teams of SG Weiterstadt and played in the WNBL team of the Mittelhessen team, with which she was German runner-up in 2011. She then injured her knee and was only able to go basket hunting again in the 2012/2013 season. She did this on the one hand with the Bender Baskets Grünberg in the 2nd women's basketball league and also with a double license with the first division club BC Marburg. For the 2013/2014 season she returned to her hometown club SG Weiterstadt, as she had to limit her training schedule due to her injured knee. One season later she moved to the first division club New Basket '92 Oberhausen , with whom she was relegated in sport but ultimately remained in the top division due to the voluntary relegation of the Rhein-Main Baskets .

National team

Aline Stiller went through the selection teams of the German Basketball Federation . She played in the German national jersey at the European Championships in 2009 and 2010. She was also a player in the U20 national team , which became European B champion in 2014 and was promoted to the European A championship class.
