Alireza Nasr Azadani ( listen ? / I , PersianAudio file / audio sample علیرضا نصر آزادانی; * September 21, 1985 in Isfahan ) is an Iranian Taekwondoin who is active in the welterweight division.

Azadani celebrated his first international successes in the junior sector. He won silver at the 2001 Asian Junior Championship in Hua Chang and reached the quarter-finals at the 2002 Junior World Championship in Heraklion . Azadani made his breakthrough in the adult division in 2006. At the Asian Games in Doha , he moved into the semi-finals in the class up to 67 kilograms and won bronze. He won his first title at the Asian Championships in Henan , winning the class up to 72 kilograms. Azadani remained undefeated at the major championships in the following years. He won in the class up to 74 kilograms at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou with a final victory against Dmitri Kim , was the first world champion in the same class at the 2011 World Cup in Gyeongju with a final victory against Patiwat Thongsalap and also won the 2012 Asian Cup in Ho- Chi Minh City won his second title in the 68kg class after beating Rohullah Nikpai in the final .
