Alison Blunt
Alison Blunt (* 1971 in Mombasa , Kenya ) is a British improvisation musician (violin) and composer .
Alison Blunt grew up in the Lake District and studied classical violin at the Conservatory of Music in Birmingham , where she also earned a Bachelor's degree; She completed her master's degree in London at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama . Since then she has worked as a musician in various ensembles such as the Berlin Improvisers Orchestra and the London Improvisers Orchestra; also cooperated with various dance, theater, video and film projects. She played with Lawrence Casserley , Tristan Honsinger , Dominic Lash , Tony Marsh , Marcio Mattos , Magda Mayas , Horst Nonnenmacher, among others, Gino Robair , John Russell , Mark Sanders , Ignaz Schick , Harri Sjöström , Roger Turner , Ute Wassermann , Els Vandeweyer , Guillaume Viltard , Veryan Weston and Michael Zerang .
