Alison Cumings (born November 18, 1961 in Kent ) is a former English squash player .
Career
Alison Cumings began her career in 1980. Her greatest successes she achieved with the English national team , with which she was world champion three times . In 1985 she won the decisive third game in the final against New Zealand against Donna Gurran in three sets. When she won the title in 1987 , she did not play in the final against Australia , including 1989 . She also won five European championships with the English team .
Between 1981 and 1989 she took part in four individual world championships. In 1985 , 1987 and 1989 she achieved her best result with the quarter-finals. In 1982 she became the British national champion.
