action

The young cellist Marianne stands by her sensitivity and her need for love. Her relationship with the violinist Etienne, an orchestra colleague, is full of complications. The relationship problems get under Marianne's skin so much that she becomes latently depressed. She tries to withdraw, with the memories of her deceased parents that keep coming back to her as an added burden. She finds support with her father's former lover, Béatrice, and Ghislaine the nanny.
