Alla Ivanovna Waschenina ( Kazakh Алла Ивановна Важенина , born May 29, 1983 in Shadrinsk , Russia ) is a Kazakh weightlifter .
Career
Alla Waschenina celebrated her greatest success at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , where she won the gold medal with 266 kg (119 kg + 147 kg) in the weight class up to 75 kg after the doping disqualification of the Chinese Cao Lei . For Kazakhstan she also won the silver medal at the 2008 Asian Championships (266 kg = 120 kg + 146 kg).
