Michael Allan Warren (born October 26, 1948 in Wimbledon (London) ) is a British photographer , writer and actor . Among other things, he is known for his portraits of high-ranking or famous personalities.

Life

Warren attended Warren Terry's Juveniles Stage School at the Drury Lane Theater . He got his first jobs through auditions, including the moderator for The Five O'clock Club where he met Marc Bolan who later hired him as a manager.

At the age of 17 he began taking pictures of his fellow actors and he soon acquired his first camera of his own . A friend, the musician Mickey Deans , asked for photos of his wedding to Judy Garland in 1969 . Since then, Warren has mainly made portraits of personalities, including many actors, writers, musicians, politicians and members of the British royal family.
