The Allard Gran Turismo is a two-door sports coupé that the British company Allard built from 1957 to 1960.
Like the contemporary 72XK Palm Beach, the car had the twin-camshaft six-cylinder engine of the Jaguar XK 140 with 3442 cm³ displacement (bore × stroke = 83 mm × 106 mm), which was 1: 8 compressed. With two SU carburetors, however, it achieved 210 bhp (154 kW) at 5750 rpm in the Gran Turismo. The car reached a top speed of 192 km / h.
The front wheels were individually suspended and had torsion bar suspension. The rigid rear axle was provided with coil springs. The wheelbase was 2438 mm, the front / rear track 1321 mm.
Together with the 72XK Palm Beach, the Gran Turismo was the last Allard model to be built in the UK.
