Allen Van

Allen Alfred Van (born March 30, 1915 in Newport , Minnesota , † August 27, 1995 in Inver Grove Heights , Minnesota) was an American ice hockey player .

Career

Allen Van attended the University of Minnesota , for whose ice hockey team he played parallel to his studies. He then spent a long career in amateur ice hockey.

International

For the USA Van took part in the Winter Olympics in Oslo in 1952 , where he won the silver medal with his team.
