action

Rudi Sterzenbach has arranged everything in the house cellar for a night together with his neighbor Maren Wenning, when he suddenly finds a corpse in his prepared love nest. However, he does not tell the police about his actual goal that evening and pretends to have been alone in the basement and to have found the body. Herta Frohwitter and her colleague Marco Petrassi can quickly determine the identity of the deceased. It's about the building contractor Armin Teller, who just had a lot of trouble with the citizens' initiative that is campaigning against the gentrification of the residential area . His business partner Raffael Sobocinski is appalled by Teller's death and not exactly happy that his project has been stopped for the time being.

The investigators state that their superior Volker Quabeck could also be involved in the case, because he is the chairman of the citizens' initiative. Quabeck is thus on leave so as not to hinder the case. In fact, he's potentially a suspect.

In their research, the investigators concentrate on the members of the citizens' initiative, but do not ignore Teller's business partners either. Despite all efforts, however, there are no concrete indications against a specific person. Only after comparing all the DNA samples is it certain that in addition to Rudi Sterzenbach, Maren Wenning - also a member of the citizens' initiative - must have been at the crime scene. However, Frohwitter finds it strange that the attractive Wenning is said to have been interested in the “primitive” Sterzenbach. The Commissioner spoke to Wenning and is not entirely convinced of her explanation. Before she can take care of these suspects, however, an attack is carried out on building authority director Dieter Reschke and everything points to blackmail. As it turns out, Teller was a friend of sex parties and used it for his own interests when he met senior officials there. One of these men was the site manager who Teller had in hand by means of secret video recordings. After his death someone seems to have used these recordings against Reschke. Sobocinski seems to be the most suspect for this, but he does not behave like a guilty perpetrator when he is questioned. So Frohwitter turns to Maren Wenning again and in conversation with her she learns that Wenning only had an appointment with Sterzenbach to lure him into the cellar so that Teller's body could be found. The building contractor would have followed her there on the evening of the crime and sexually threatened, humiliated and provoked her in such a way that she was afraid to grab something and hit him on the head so hard that he died from it. Their attempts at resuscitation would not have helped. Frohwitter gives Wenning free to report to the Presidium the next day to voluntarily put her statement on record, which would have a positive effect on the sentence.

"Do you think that you can just grab, tie and throw away things you are afraid of?"

criticism

Tilmann P. Gangloff from tittelbach.tv rated: “The first film in the series 'Alles Verbrecher' was a harmless, cheerful crime comedy; with an emphasis on harmless. The second, 'Leiche im Keller' by comedy director Rolf Silber, has a lot more bite and speed. In addition, the story of the gentrification of a Frankfurt district has a certain relevance. [...] Oliver Stokowski is particularly worth seeing; and those who like (the Hessian) dialect will get their money's worth anyway. "

For critics of the television magazine TV Spielfilm was all criminals - skeleton in the closet a "little joke, as in, the Blue Boar. '" They gave the film a medium rating by pointing to the side with their thumbs.
