Daniel Rodic (born January 17, 1991 in Mainz , Rhineland-Palatinate ) is a German actor .

Life

Daniel Rodic was born in January 1991 in Mainz in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate . He grew up with his older brother in Mainz and has Serbian roots. The family later moved to the Oberbergisches Land as their parents opened a hotel there. A few years later they moved to Cologne . Rodic worked there in his parents' creperie in the southern part of Cologne. From August 2008 to January 2012 he trained as an actor at the German Center for Drama and Film in Hürth near Cologne.

Career

Rodic made his acting debut in 2010 in Alarm for Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei und Notruf Hafenkante . In 2012 he got a supporting role as Anton in the RTL II reality soap MEK 8 . In 2013 he was seen in the television film Summer in Rome . From the end of 2013 to 2018 he had a supporting role as Cem in the RTL television series Der Lehrer . He also took on episode roles in the ZDF television series Heartbreaker - Father of Four Sons (2013), SOKO Stuttgart (2014) and Heldt (2015).

Rodic had his first leading role as the daring Marco Petrassi in the crime series Alles Verbrecher at Ulrike Krumbiegel's side . He was seen in the episodes Ice Cold Love (aired April 2014) and Leiche im Keller (aired February 2015).
