The Allwörden outer dyke and Brammersand is a former nature reserve near Freiburg in the Stade district . The area was designated as a nature reserve in November 1979. It bore the registration number NSG LÜ 048. In December 2018 it appeared in the newly designated nature reserve " Elbe and Islands ".

It is a large, contiguous foreland complex in the brackish water area of the Lower Elbe . The marshland , influenced by the tides , is characterized by white clover - ryegrass willows. Upstream on the banks of the Elbe there are reeds , perennial corridors and mud flats . The latter is criss-crossed by a widely ramified system of creeks and ditches. Mainly waders and water birds find breeding and resting places here, but they also visit the area when they moult .
