The Alma River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
The river rises at the northern end of the Cheyne Range in the southeast corner of the Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park . From there it flows southwest to the Lyell Highway , where it flows into the Collingwood River .
