The Alte See - Ruhmberg nature reserve is located in the Leipzig district in Saxony . It extends southeast of Grethen , a district of the Parthenstein community , and west, east and south of Rumberg. The S 38 runs on the northern edge of the area and the B 107a on the eastern edge . The Parthe flows through the area and the Mulde flows to the east .
