Old Jewish cemetery in Dielkirchen

The old Jewish cemetery in Dielkirchen , a local community in the Donnersbergkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate , was laid out around 1850 or earlier. The Jewish cemetery is in the upper part of Bergstrasse. It is a protected cultural monument .

The cemetery was expanded in 1900 and occupied until 1921. Then the new Jewish cemetery was laid out.

27 tombstones are still preserved in the 1350 square meter cemetery . It is densely overgrown with hedges and fir trees.
