The Waldgrehweiler Jewish Cemetery is a cemetery in Waldgrehweiler , a municipality in the Donnersbergkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The Jewish dead were first buried in the Jewish cemetery in Teschenmoschel . Since around 1830 there was a separate cemetery in Waldgrehweiler on the edge of the forest near the field path (extension of the hollow road) in the direction of Bistigart . There are 13 grave steles made of sandstone on an area of 3.5 ares , mostly in historicizing forms. Most of the Hebrew inscriptions are weathered. Some stones are lopsided, partly broken, overturned or put back up in a makeshift manner.

The youngest, completely legible, tomb is of Abraham Strauss , born in September 1828, died in January 1889. The stone for Simon Strauss , born in January 1811, died on January 17, 1867, is still clearly recognizable . Another one still leaves the family name Because recognize the date of birth March 7, 1873 and death date December 7, 1932.
