Jewish cemetery (Göllheim)

The Jewish Cemetery Göllheim is a cemetery in the local community of Göllheim in the Donnersbergkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The Jewish cemetery is located southwest of the town west of the B 47 on the L 396 state road .

The 701 m² cemetery, which was laid out in 1893 and occupied until 1939, has 38 gravestones , including a marble obelisk . The tombstones bear family names such as Straus, Lonsbach, Hecht, Freiberg, Felsenthal, Eckhaus, Moses, Marx, Samuel, Fränkel, Wälder and Weinmann.

Old graveyard

An old Jewish cemetery is about 450 meters southeast of the new cemetery. It was laid out around 1700 and occupied until 1893. There are no more tombstones. This cemetery was also used by the Jews in Biedesheim and Kerzenheim . The originally 2191 m² cemetery can only be seen from the outside as a small wood. He is no longer cared for.
