Jewish cemetery (Gauersheim)

The Gauersheim Jewish Cemetery is a cemetery in Gauersheim , a municipality in the Donnersbergkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The 1230 m² Jewish cemetery is located on Am Bangert, "In the water garden at the Bannzaun", west of the village at the level of the Protestant church, about 50 meters from the main road. It was documented from around 1770 to 1934. It was expanded in 1818 and 1874. In the 1870s it received a portal and an enclosure wall. The cemetery was desecrated during the Nazi era .

There are 109 tombstones .
