history

1341 sold Abbot Konrad from Biburg Abbey the castle stable of Althexenagger to Heinrich von Hauzendorf; therefore there was a castle here, which was already destroyed at that time, but of which walls and moats can still be seen today. 1477 confirmed Emperor Friedrich III. Niklas, Lord von Absberg , his fiefdom , including Althexenagger and the wood for Althexenagger, called the "Mulperg".

In 1838 the wasteland consisted of a house with eight residents.

Althexenagger, which belonged to the municipality of Tettenwang, has belonged to the large municipality of Altmannstein since 1978.

  • The Catholic Chapel of St. Leonhard and St. Wendelin is a simple 17th century building with a sign to the west and a roof turret with an octagon and a dome. Between two twisted columns, which are wrapped with vine leaves and fruit, and flanked by two figures, the altar panel from the first half of the 17th century shows the two church patrons. The former side church of Sollern (as it was in the 19th century) today belongs to the parish of Tettenwang in the diocese of Regensburg .
