Altreich (Romania)
The Altreich ( Romanian Vechiul Regat or Regat ) was the name given to the area of Romania after the First World War that had belonged to this state before the war. It consisted of the following historical regions: Vltava , Wallachia and Dobruja (including Snake Island ).
As a result of the Second Balkan War , the South Dobruja was added in 1913 .
Under the successors of King Carol, his nephew Ferdinand I , it came in 1918 through the merger with Transylvania , the Banat and Crisana , the Bukovina and Bessarabia to the formation of Greater Romania .
