Alvaro Efrén Rincón Rojas CSsR (born April 14, 1933 in El Calvario ) is emeritus Vicar Apostolic of Puerto Carreño .
Life
Alvaro Efrén Rincón Rojas who entered religious community of Redemptorists in and received on 25 April 1962, the priestly ordination . On December 22, 1999, John Paul II appointed him Vicar Apostolic of Puerto Carreño and Titular Bishop of Bettonium .
The Apostolic Nuncio in Colombia , Beniamino Stella , donated him episcopal ordination on March 24 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Fabio de Jesús Morales Grisales CSsR, Bishop of Mocoa-Sibundoy , and Rodrigo Arango Velásquez PSS , Bishop of Buga .
On June 10, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
