The Alzenberg ( 1100 m ) is a mountain in the Bavarian Forest northeast of the city of Freyung and is located in the Bavarian Forest National Park about two kilometers from the Czech border . It is almost completely forested.
The next settlement is the Mitterfirmiansreut district of the Philippsreut community . Neighboring mountains are south of the Almberg ( 1140 m ) and in the Czech Republic northeast of the Strážný ( 1115 m ).
