The Am Rümpfwald nature reserve is located in the Zwickau district in Saxony . It extends south of Glauchau . The Zwickauer Mulde flows northwest of the area and runs along the B 175 . Northeast running the S 252 and the A-4 .

The 88 hectare area with NSG no. C 87 was placed under nature protection in 1998.
