Amanda Davidson (born May 6, 1983 in Dayton , Tennessee ) is an American basketball coach and former player.

Career

The 1.75 m wide structure player , which is also on the wings can be used, played until 2005 at the University of Indianapolis . In the 2005/06 season she was in Holland with the local first division club Probuilt Lions Landsmeer under contract. For the 2006/07 season she moved to Nördlingen in the 2nd women's basketball league , where she became the league's top scorer and clearly led in all statistics.

When her club did not take advantage of the promotion option to the first basketball league , Davidson moved to BC Marburg in the highest German league for the 2007/08 season .

On February 1, 2009, she managed a buzzer beater from a distance of 20 meters in the match between BC Marburg and TV 1872 Saarlouis .

For the 2013/14 season, Amanda Davidson moved to the first division ChemCats Chemnitz . There she ended her playing career and was hired to coach the first division team for the 2015/2016 season.

successes

With the Dutch first division club Pro Built Lions Landsmeer she won the cup in 2006 and was also elected to the Allstar team.

With TSV 1861 Nördlingen , she won the championship in the 2nd Women's Basketball Bundesliga South in the 2006/07 season.

With BC Pharmaserv Marburg she was third in the German championship in the 2009/10 and 2011/12 season and third in the cup competition in the 2010/11 season.
