Amand Pachler OSB (born September 29, 1624 in Reichenhall, today Bad Reichenhall , † September 9, 1673 in Salzburg ) was a historian and abbot of the St. Peter monastery in Salzburg.

Pachler was born in Reichenhall in Bavaria and baptized with the name Hieronymus. He later took the name Amandus. The holy Amandus was worshiped in Salzburg, since there his remains are kept. In 1642 Pachler entered the Benedictine monastery of St. Peter in Salzburg. He was ordained a priest in 1648. He was a doctor of theology and philosophy and from 1651 to 1657 professor at the Salzburg University. In 1657 he was elected Abbot of St. Peter. As such, he had the convent and novitiate wing of the monastery built. Amandus Pachler wrote a large number of historical writings. These include the biographies of the Salzburg bishops Vitalis , Gebhard and Thiemo , as well as treatises on the monastery relics and antiquities found in Salzburg. He wrote a chronicle of the Admont Monastery in Styria and a commentary on the famous Saltzburg Chronica by Franz Dückher (1609–1671).
