Amber Lynn (* 3. September 1964 in Newport Beach , California as Laura Lynn Allen ) is an American former porn actress and stripper .

Amber Lynn was born and raised in Southern California. As a teenager, she moved around the Los Angeles club scene , where she met Althea Flynt , the wife of Hustler- editor Larry Flynt . It doesn't take long before Lynn posed for shots in the Hustler and other men's magazines like Penthouse . She started working in the hardcore film industry in 1983 after her friend Ginger Lynn did the same. The two friends became known together with Porsche Lynn as the "three Lynns" and are considered to be the most successful porn actresses of the 1980s. Amber Lynn also brought her older brother, Buck Adams, into the porn industry.
Although Lynn was not directly affected by the Traci Lords scandal in 1986 , it shook her confidence in the industry. She also felt hurt by her friend Shauna Grant's suicide in 1984 and left the industry. She began stripping and made appearances in Canada with actress Tracey Adams , with whom she was in a lesbian relationship at the time. After a few years, the number of porn actresses who also acted as strippers increased and the competition increased. Lynn moved back to Los Angeles and started posing for magazines again.
She returned to the industry in the mid-1990s but could no longer achieve the same level of success as it did in the 1980s. While she hadn't undergone breast augmentation in her early career , her breasts were noticeably enlarged when she returned. Many of her roles were lesbian scenes or non-sex roles. Her relationship with Adams ended in 1999 and Lynn left the industry again.
Lynn also played a small role in the mainstream film 52 Pick-Up with Roy Scheider in 1986 .
