Friedrich Bullinger (born July 25, 1953 in Schwäbisch Hall ) is a German politician ( FDP / DVP ). From 2006 to 2018 he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .

education

After an apprenticeship as a practical farmer, he studied agriculture at the Nürtingen University of Applied Sciences as well as law and agricultural sciences at the Universities of Heidelberg and Göttingen . In 1982 he completed his studies with the degree of Dipl.-Ing. agriculture. from. 1984 followed the external doctorate to Dr. sc. agrar. at the University of Göttingen.

Professional and political activity

After six years in the Bavarian civil service as an advisor for business administration in Middle Franconia, he moved to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg in 1988, where he was parliamentary advisor until 1996. From 1996 to 1998 he was a ministerial advisor in the central office of the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics . He then moved to the Baden-Württemberg State Trade Office, whose President he was from October 1, 2000 until the end of 2003. On January 1, 2004, he returned to the Ministry of Economic Affairs as head of office with the rank of Ministerial Director.

Since 1976 he has been a member of the FDP, since 1989 municipal councilor in his place of residence Rot am See for the list Aktiv & Offen , since 1999 member of the district council of the district Schwäbisch Hall . In the Baden-Württemberg state elections on March 26, 2006 , he stood as an FDP candidate in constituency 22 (Schwäbisch Hall) and was elected to the state parliament with a second mandate. Because of his mandate, he resigned from the civil service on April 15, 2006. He was re-elected in the state election on March 27, 2011 . In the 15th electoral term, Bullinger was a member (2006–2011) of the Interior Committee and the Committee for Rural Areas and Consumer Protection. He was also deputy chairman of the seven-member FDP / DVP parliamentary group.

At the end of July 31, 2018 he resigned from his mandate. His replacement candidate Stephen Brauer moved up for him in the state parliament.

Family and private

Friedrich Bullinger is Protestant. He is married and has three children. His son Daniel is mayor of the municipality of Oberrot (Schwäbisch Hall district)
