Aminatou Gaoh

Aminatou Batouré Gaoh (born December 31, 1961 in Kiéché ) is a Nigerien diplomat .

Life

Aminatou Gaoh attended Niamey University , where she received her licentiate and master's degree in private law . She also studied international business law at the University of Paris V . From 1994, Gaoh took on various management positions in the Nigerien Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, initially as head of the personnel department, from 1995 to 1998 as head of the department of the Economic and Social Council and from 2000 to 2002 as head of the Africa department. In 2002 she moved to the Nigerian embassy in Paris , where she worked as a consultant for economic, commercial and cultural matters as well as decentralized cooperation. She then worked from 2010 to 2011 as the director of the departments for decentralized cooperation as well as for non-governmental organizations and the assembly of delegates in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

As of February 24, 2012, Gaoh was accredited as Niger's ambassador to Germany . Their official seat was in Berlin . She was also accredited as ambassador from October 25, 2012 in Sweden , from November 16, 2012 in Denmark , from November 29, 2012 in Norway , from December 13, 2012 to the Holy See , from November 14, 2013 in Finland and from November 13, 2012 . January 2015 in Poland . Her successor as Niger's ambassador to Germany was Boubacar Boureima on March 2, 2016 .

Aminatou Gaoh is married and has one son.
