Amphoe Huai Khot ( Thai อำเภอ ห้วย ค ด ) is a district ( Amphoe - Administrative District) in the central part of Uthai Thani Province . The Uthai Thani Province is located in the northern region of Thailand .

Neighboring counties (clockwise from south): Ban Rai , Lan Sak and Nong Chang districts in Uthai Thani Province.

history

Huai Khot was founded on August 1, 1984 as a subdistrict ( King Amphoe ), consisting of the three tambon Huai Khot, Suk Ruethai and Thong Lang, which were split off from Ban Rai County . On November 3, 1993, the subdistrict received full amphoe status.
