Amphoe Ban Rai ( Thai อำเภอ บ้านไร่ ) is a district ( Amphoe - Administrative District) in the Uthai Thani Province . The Uthai Thani Province is located in the northern region of Thailand .

geography

Ban Rai County covers more than half the area of ​​Uthai Thani Province. It is the third largest district in Thailand in terms of area. Much of the county is taken up by the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary .

Neighboring counties (clockwise from north): Mae Poen district in Nakhon Sawan Province , Lan Sak , Huai Khot and Nong Chang districts in Uthai Thani Province, Nong Mamong , Hankha, and Noen Kham district in Chai Nat Province , Dan district Chang in the province of Suphan Buri , Amphoe Si Sawat and Thong Pha Phum in Kanchanaburi province and Amphoe Umphang of Tak Province .
