Amphoe Mueang Samut Prakan ( Thai : อำเภอ เมือง สมุทรปราการ , pronunciation: ʔāmpʰɤ̄ː mɯ̄aŋ sāmùt prāːkāːn ) is a district ( amphoe - administrative district) of Samut Prakan Province . The Samut Prakan Province is located in the central region of Thailand .

- Samrong Nuea (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล สำโรง เหนือ ) consisting of the parts of the Tambon Samrong Nuea, Bang Mueang Mai, Thepharak.
- Dan Samrong (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ด่านสำโรง ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Samrong Nuea.
- Bang Mueang (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บาง เมือง ) consisting of the parts of the Tambon Bang Mueang, Bang Mueang Mai, Thepharak.
