Amselflue

The Amselflue is a 2781  m high mountain in the Plessur Alps in the Swiss canton of Graubünden . It is located south of the Maienfelder Furgga pass crossing in the southeastern peaks of the Strela range between Arosa and Davos Glaris . Neighboring peaks are the Tiejer Flue , the Furggahorn , the Schiesshorn and the Valbellahorn . The border between the communities of Arosa and Davos runs on the summit ridge of the Amselflue.

The highest point in the rocky summit ridge is the west summit, from which ridges branch off to the west, south-southeast and north-east (to the east summit). The 2768  m high east summit towers over the Maienfelder Furgga. The short north ridge and the elongated southeast ridge branch off from it in the direction of Glaris, from which the Amselturm protrudes prominently. The Amselflue ridge is surrounded by steep scree slopes.
